01 — Speed

Fast.

Request to wheels-up in hours, not days. We quote in minutes — because the window between "part available" and "last flight out" is often smaller than that.

02 — Custody

Secure.

Your shipment never leaves a courier's hands. Continuous chain of custody, live tracking and signed proof of delivery — from pickup to consignee.

03 — Access

Further.

Our own flight ticketing agency gives us access to connections that don't appear in standard distribution — so when everyone else says there's no flight, we often find one.

CASE · AUTOMOTIVE LINE-DOWN

A stamping press in Bavaria stopped at 06:40. A controller part sat in a supplier's warehouse in Shenzhen. We put a courier on the 11:55 out of HKG with the part hand-carried; it cleared Munich and reached the plant floor before the next shift — the line never lost a full day.

What sets us apart

Every broker can carry it.
We make it your client's easiest call.

Speed and a real person at 3 a.m. are the price of entry. What you'll actually notice is different: less back-and-forth on your side, and a client who stops asking where the shipment is — because they can already see it. We'd rather show you than describe it.

What we move

Every way to move
something that cannot wait.

Every option below runs with full 24/7 access and, where flights matter, our own ticketing agency — so when standard distribution is full or too slow, we usually still have a route.

/ 01

On-Board Courier

A dedicated courier flies with your shipment on-board. We book the ticket — often on routes not in standard distribution. The fastest door-to-door option that exists.

/ 02

Next Flight Out

Cargo booked onto the very next available commercial flight, with airport-to-airport handling at both ends.

/ 03

Charter

Dedicated aircraft when scheduled capacity won't cut it — for outsized, urgent or restricted freight.

/ 04

AOG & Emergency Freight

Aircraft-on-ground parts moved with absolute priority to get grounded fleets flying again.

/ 05

Cold Chain

Temperature-controlled handling for pharma, clinical samples and bone marrow — validated end to end.

/ 06

High-Value & Secure

Discreet, insured handling for high-value goods, prototypes and documents that can't be entrusted to a network.

/ 07

Marine & Ship Spares

Door-to-deck delivery of critical spare parts and components to vessels at port — before the window closes.

What our clients say

The part of the job
they remember.

We had an AOG at 23:00 on a Sunday. I sent one message to Critical Cargo and had three routing options back within twelve minutes. Our regular broker didn't answer until Monday morning.

AOG Desk ManagerEuropean freight forwarder · Netherlands

What surprised me was the connection they found — it wasn't in any system I use. The part was on a plane two hours after we confirmed. I still don't know how they did it.

I've worked with a lot of OBC brokers. Critical Cargo is the only one where someone actually picks up at 3am and gives you a real answer — not a voicemail and a callback promise.

Friday, 18:00. Aircraft on the ground in Katowice. No direct flight.

A critical part was sitting in a Lufthansa Technik hangar in another country. Road transport: 1,000 km, twelve hours. Not viable. Every other broker said: earliest available Monday.

We identified a routing via Vienna, then road for the final leg. Our driver reached the terminal in 50 minutes. The courier cleared check-in with 3 minutes to spare — part in hold, AirTag inside.

20:10 — wheels up. 02:00 — part delivered at Katowice Airport. 06:00 — aircraft took off on schedule.

06:40. Stamping press stopped in Bavaria. Controller part in Shenzhen.

A production line at a Bavarian plant halted at 06:40. The missing controller part was in a supplier's warehouse in Shenzhen — with the next available commercial flight showing a next-day arrival at the earliest.

We sourced an alternative routing and placed a courier on the 11:55 departure out of HKG with the part hand-carried as accompanied baggage. It cleared Munich customs and reached the plant floor before the next shift started.

The line never lost a full production day.

Thursday, 14:50. Aircraft on the ground in Tallinn. Part in London.

A critical aircraft part was sitting in London. The client sent the enquiry to several brokers at the same time. London City at 18:00 was the only flight that could make it — tight, but possible.

Our quoting tool had routing options on screen in 20 seconds. We called the client immediately — not to ask questions, but to confirm one thing: is the cargo ready now? It was. Offer sent within 2 minutes of the original enquiry. While other brokers were still building their quotes, we were already buying the ticket.

18:00 — wheels up from London City. That evening — part delivered in Tallinn. Aircraft back in service. No downtime the next morning.

How it works

OBC, NFO, AOG: what each one means

On-Board Courier (OBC)

A courier flies with your shipment as carry-on. It travels in the cabin, not the hold, and never leaves their hands. The cargo clears customs with the courier and gets delivered directly. No intermediate handling, no risk of being offloaded on a busy route.

Next Flight Out (NFO)

The cargo travels unaccompanied on the next available flight. No courier on board, but it moves just as fast airport-to-airport. Useful when the item is too large for carry-on or when personal custody is not required. We handle booking and collection at the other end.

AOG Logistics

AOG means Aircraft on Ground: the plane is sitting because a part is missing. Every hour it stays there costs the operator tens of thousands in lost revenue and re-booked passengers. The job is to get that part onto the aircraft by whatever flight is leaving soonest, and to have an offer to the client before they stop waiting for one.

Marine Spare Parts

A ship waiting in port burns money. We hand-carry spare parts to ports and anchorages worldwide, working around vessel schedules, tide windows, and port agent availability. The brief is always the same: get it there before the ship leaves.

Common questions
What is an on-board courier?

Someone who buys a seat on a commercial flight and carries your shipment as hand luggage. The item is with them the entire time, from collection to delivery. It clears customs in their name and goes wherever they go. For small items where losing track of the shipment is not an option, it is the only method that gives you complete visibility at every stage.

How quickly can you quote?

In minutes. We use a quoting tool that pulls multiple routing options at once, which means we are not building quotes one option at a time the way most brokers do. When an AOG comes in at 02:00 or a ship spare needs moving on a Sunday, a real person answers. Not a ticket queue.

What types of cargo can you carry?

Aircraft parts, avionics, engine components, marine spares, pharmaceutical samples, medical devices, legal documents. Anything that fits in carry-on baggage and cannot wait for a standard freight booking. We check weight and dimension limits before confirming.

Do you operate worldwide?

Yes. We are members of the X2 Critical network, which gives us access to 1,500+ couriers globally. We also run our own flight ticketing agency, which means we can access routings that do not appear in standard booking systems. If a commercial flight can reach the destination, we can cover it.

Can you handle UK to EU shipments after Brexit?

Yes. Cross-channel documentation adds steps, but we handle both sides. We move time-critical freight between UK and EU regularly, including AOG shipments where a customs delay would cost more than the shipment itself.

What makes you different from other OBC brokers?

Most brokers take 15-20 minutes to send a quote. Our tool has multiple routing options on screen in seconds, so we call the client while other brokers are still building their offer. In AOG work that gap usually decides who gets the job. The other thing: when you call us, someone who can actually make decisions picks up.
